A community focussed program supporting the physical, mental and social wellbeing of women. These classes are about women empowering women, fostering sisterhood and collective resilience, feeling good in our bodies, inspiring others and being inspired, growing stronger together and having fun.

 

WOMEN AND TEENAGE GIRLS MOVING

Women of all ages and teenage girls (13+) combined group: nurturing a space for mentorship and inspiration. No movement experience necessary. NDIS participants requiring low level support are encouraged to join. Absolute beginners are welcome!

 

Programming – holistic, fun, safe and skills-based!

  • Gymnastics: developing attributes and skills across apparatus to foster physical literacy.

  • Creative Dance-Movement: exploring and improvising, to nurture creativity and expression through motion.

  • BrainDance: cycling through the eight developmental movement patterns to oxygenate and reorganise the brain to feel a sense of aliveness.

  • Animal Locomotion: learning novel and effective locomotive patterns for strength, flexibility, coordination, and mobility.

A community focussed movement program supporting children with diverse abilities and needs, in order to move, connect, build capacity and friendships while meeting their unique needs and abilities. Fostering physical, mental and social wellbeing through: sensory engagement; and developing creativity, confidence, self-esteem, communication, physical literacy, fundamental movement skills and independence. These classes offer safe and fun developmental opportunities, promoting empowerment for all movers. 

 

CHILDREN WITH MIXED ABILITIES MOVING!

 

This program welcomes primary school age children. Classes are activity-based, where individuals choose movement goals that are important to them, within a structured experientially focussed environment. Classes also offer group focussed themes and engagement. Participating children are required to be accompanied and fully supported by an adult for the entire class, which may be a parent, carer or Allied Health Professional. Our team of coaches will provide guidance, instruction, encouragement and assistance throughout. If you are unsure as to whether this class best suits your needs, please reach out to us. NDIS and other participants requiring low level support are encouraged to join. No movement experience necessary.
