Bring a marquee if you have one! ☀️ There will be ice and water available throughout the day. ☀️ The activities in the gym will still run as they are short duration and the air con will be on. After a very exciting day of competition, Koorana Gymnastics was crowned the Teams Challenge Champion for the second year in a row, the award proudly presented by our Level 5 team! 💚💙🤍 Special shout out to our level 4 superstars, who not only brought home gold in the all around, but achieved first place on all four apparatus as well 🤩👏

🧺🌳 Get ready for the Koorana Gymnastics’ Community Day on the Lawn! ⭐️ Coming up this Saturday, November 16th, at the Rosedale Reserve (behind the gym), we will be hosting a variety of great, family friendly activities for all to take part in! 💙 The day will kick off with our Annual General Meeting at 11am, followed by athlete displays from some of our amazing senior WAG, MAG and Team Gym athletes! Check out the schedule to discover more display times. 💚 Don’t miss out on the real fun though; For just $5 per child, your family can explore a fun and engaging gymnastics circuit throughout the entire gym 🤩 Run and supervised by our Gymnastics for All staff, the circuit will be perfect for children of all ages and abilities. CONGRATULATIONS to our WAG level 7-10 and junior international athletes on their exciting National Clubs campaign! At the end of last term, we said goodbye to a dedicated member of our coaching team; Mel Harris, who has been a member of Koorana Gymnastics for many years as an athlete, a parent and, most recently, a coach. 💚🌷 💙Mel began at Koorana as a WAG athlete when she was 6 years old, and trained in our levels program through to Level 6 with former President and Life Member, Barry Barnes as her coach. In 2011, she registered and competed as a WAG athlete in the 2011 Masters Games. 💚Over her seven year long coaching career, Mel has been part of many programs within Koorana Gymnastics. These included our past recreation and Adult Gym programs and most recently, our Gymnastics for All program. 🤍Mel’s son, Eli, trained and competed in Koorana’s MAG program for a few years before transitioning to the Trampoline program at Blackwood Gymsports. ⭐️Mel has chosen to continue her coaching career at Blackwood Gymsports, where her son Eli currently trains. Koorana Gymnastics wish you all the best for this next chapter of your life and your gymnastics career, and thank you for your extensive involvement during your time as a dedicated ‘Koorana Girl.’ 💙💚🤍
