WHAT IS STEPS?
Steps is our pre-competition program for girls interested in taking their gymnastics to the next level and is available only by trial and invitation.
Gymnasts progress through 4 steps based on the level the 1-3 Gymnastics Australia curriculum, with the focus on refined and quality movement, strength and flexibility. At the end of the 4 steps, gymnasts may be invited to attend our WAG program and begin competition gymnastics. We run regular in-house competitions and skill check-ins to determine progress through the steps program.
Class times: Steps classes are on Thursdays and Saturdays, with training sessions being 1.5-2 hours duration.

With a program that has produced multiple State and National champions over many years, high levels of representation in SA state teams, access to some of the best facilities to train in Adelaide, membership in our squad is highly competitive and much sought after.

WHAT IS COMPETITIVE MAG?
Koorana’s Men’s artistic Gymnastics program is one of SA’s leading competition programs. Class focus moves towards learning advanced gymnastics skills, shapes and gaining the strength required to participate in higher level Men’s gymnastics. The boys are given the chance to compete at the many SA competitions and use these opportunities to progress through the levels. We also have high level MAG gymnasts who compete at state and national level and provide excellent role models for our junior athletes. Our Koorana MAG coaches are ex-gymnasts themselves and have moved through the same pathways to achieve a high level of expertise, along with further coaching skills gained via the national coaching curriculum. Participation in this program is via invitation only.
